What is carbonization of biomass?
The carbonization of biomass is a waste treatment technology, we can use wood chips, coconut shells, rice husks, stalks of plants, shells, etc as raw materials to make charcoal by the process of “high temperature pyrolysis gases and vapors, sulfur emissions, carbon concentration”.
Making charcoal from biomass carbonization plant can be used for making barbecue charcoal or hookah charcoal. Or It can be used as fuel or further processed into activated carbon. What’s more, it also can be used as biological carbon fertilizer to improve the soil conditions.
To convert a variety of biomass into useful charcoal resources, we have designed the continuous biomass carbonization plant. At the same time, biomass carbonization machine can be used to carbonize municipal solid waste and sewage sludge.
Firstly, it adopts double-layer design, which can make the lower part of the machine contact the hot air as much as possible. This design can help improving the heat utilization efficiency.
Secondly, the ” a two-step method of fire” applied in carbonization machine is exclusive. We make full use of the waste heat and waste smoke to reduce the water content of biomass. The utilization rate of calorific fuel can reach more than 90%. In this case, we only need to calculate the cost of carbonization. The traditional machine does not have such a structure.
Thirdly, about the fuel selection, we can design the hot air source system of our machine according to customer’s local cheap fuel. Thus realizing the comprehensive use of various fuel materials such as carbon, coal, biomass, combustible gas and rubbish, etc. In this way, carbonization machine can reduce cost and achieve the virtuous circle.
In addition, we only use one hot air source system in the carbonization process. As we all know, one more hot air source system means one more step and the cost of fuel, electricity, labor will also increase. So using only one hot air source system can also help reducing fuel cost.
Most of all, the flue gas discharged by biomass carbonization plant can meet the requirements of national environmental protection.

FAQ:
1.Raw Material preprocess: Consider the material size and moisture to make different configuration.
2.Working Form: Continuous working, one side feeding and another side discharging at same time.
3.Temperature of the end charcoal: At 30 degree after water cooling discharger
4.Carbonization Ratio: Around 3:1 or 4:1, means one ton raw material dry material can get about 330kg charcoal. As the material is not exactly same in different place, the end result is different.
5.Tar and Wood vinegar: Has the collector to get this by products on the process of the carbonization.
